Become a Reading Center Sponsor
Best of Basics - Dyslexia Dash - Bright Stars
Please join us in making an impact in the community by supporting The Reading Center with a cash or in-kind sponsorship. Sponsorships help to underwrite the class/event costs and to provide businesses and individuals an opportunity to visibly align with a deeply respected community organization.
The visibility benefits of sponsoring The Reading Center are attractive and you have the opportunity to align your business with a well-regarded, established non-profit in Rochester.
If you wish to become a sponsor in 2019 please contact Sarah Carlson-Wallrath, Development Director at 507-288-5271 or email@example.com
Best of Basics Sponsorship
The Reading Center's 2019 Best of Basics program runs from July 8 to August 2, 2019, and serves children from pre-Kindergarten through High School. This two or four week intensive summer program can help any struggling student bridge the gap between grade levels and boost their skills before they start school in the fall.
Our business sponsorships enable us to provide our needed remedial programming for students in the summer. Your sponsorship dollars go toward providing scholarships for struggling students who cannot afford the program, and toward underwriting the costs of providing the Best of Basics including classroom supplies.
Bright Stars Sponsorship
Every fall The Reading Center brings a successful adult dyslexic individual to a special outreach event. All of our events have been very successful, bringing in hundreds of guests – many new to us, and raising thousands to support The Reading Center’s mission.
We are still planning this year’s event. Sponsorships help to underwrite the event costs and provide businesses and individuals an opportunity to visibly align with a deeply respected community organization.
Please join us in celebrating the wonderful minds of dyslexic individuals and the impact of The Reading Center by financially supporting the Bright Stars Event through a sponsorship.
6th Annual Dyslexia Dash - Saturday, October 5, 2019
The Reading Center is again planning a dynamic community event to increase public awareness of dyslexia, as well as to raise funds for scholarships and other important Reading Center programs. Saturday, October 5, we are holding our 6th Annual Superhero Dyslexia Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk.
As in past years, the Superhero Dyslexia Dash will include a Kids’ fun run and a 5K Fun Run/Walk. Everyone in the community is invited! We will again have a Superhero Theme-- All runners are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero. Why? People with dyslexia often have special abilities that help them to shine, like a superhero.
