The Best of Basics program was established in 1994 to bridge the gap between grade levels and to provide a boost for students before school resumes in the fall. Students are prescreened for an accurate assessment of skills for appropriate group placement. The level of identified skills determines the specific curriculum for each group. A specially trained teacher provides four weeks of daily, small group, multisensory instruction.
The dates for the 2009 Best of Basics Summer School are to be set.
